Local Council Elections, 1993 - 2008

Each local council is elected at three-year intervals. Council elections are staggered so that each year one-third of the councils are elected. Thus, over a period of three years a cycle of elections takes place for all councils.

Five such electoral cycles have been completed and the sixth one began in 2008. Some of the files in this sections are updated only at the end of a cycle and therefore do not include any results for 2008. Those files are indicated by an asterisk.
