The Handbook for Calculators has two appendices:

Appendix 1 shows a diagram of the Counting Hall.

Appendix 2 is a twelve-page demonstration of the counting process, showing the forms which are used in the process and using hypothetical results to demonstrate the various steps in the process of counting the ballots and transferring votes.

The appendices are provided in graphic format (GIF files) rather than as text files. The original pages of the Handbook for Calculators were, unfortunately, printed with poor ink on poor paper. The resulting graphics files are consequently of rather marginal quality.

In order to maintain a reasonable measure of readability, the files had to be kept fairly large and may take up more than a single computer screen; and printing them may require some extra effort. (You may want to download the GIF files to your hard disk before you attempt to create a still readable image.)
